The Bilateral Talks and Evening Reception in honour of the up-coming Leadership Meeting 2025 of Partnership on Religion and Sustainable Development (PaRD)

Venerable Napan Thawornbanjob, on behalf of IBHAP Foundation, invited Prof. Dr. Kanok Wongtrangan, Former Member of Parliament and Former Advisor to the Prime Minister, and Ms. Sakuna Saranun, Member of Parliament, the two policymakers from Thailand, to join the Bilateral Talks and Evening Reception in honour of the upcoming Leadership Meeting 2025 of Partnership on Religion and Sustainable Development (PaRD). The event was hosted by PaRD and organised by Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) of Indonesia, in Jakarta, Indonesia. 

Candle-Light Triple Circumambulation Enhancing Nature-based Solution

Replacing candles with trees in the Buddhist Ceremony, Candle-Light Triple Circumambulation, is one of our environmental efforts to enhance the translation of the global policy, Nature-based Solution (NbS) into local actions, by leveraging the value of Buddhism as social capital in raising awareness, inducing behavioral change and mobilising collective action. This initiative was originally created by the Tree for Dhamma Foundation. It is part of their MOU with other 17 organisations.
